Job summary

We have a great opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our team, you will be responsible for the administration process of recruiting staff - from advertising vacancies, processing pre employment checks to issuing offers of employment and contracts for staff joining the trust.

This is an exciting time to join our team we are on a journey to develop our recruitment function, with a strong focus on digitisation and improvement of processes to enhance the candidate experience.

As a Recruitment Administrator, you will provide an efficient and effective recruitment administrative and clerical support service to the organisation, and support the Recruitment team to deliver a fantastic experience for our candidates.

You will work to ensure that all candidates at CLCH have a smooth and welcoming joining experience ensuring that their onboarding is managed seamlessly in a timely manner.

This is a hybrid position with up to the 2 days per week home working. The base for this post will be Milne House, Paddington, but may be required to work from other Trust sites and travel as required.

Main duties of the job

To provide a full range of recruitment administrative support for all Clinical and Corporate Divisions, the role ensures that recruitment administration and supporting processes and procedures are delivered to the highest standard.

You will bring:

Previous experience working within a HR/recruitment role/customer service role.

Ability to multi-task and prioritise appropriately

Confidence speaking to candidates and Hiring Managers

You'll be someone who is able to adapt to change, and be able to respond to conflicting priorities quickly and efficiently to drive through recruitment processes across the whole recruitment lifecycle.

  • To provide a full range of recruitment administrative support to medical and non-medical staff.
  • To input data and generate correspondence via the recruitment system and the HR information system (ESR) as required in the administration of the on-boarding process
  • To publish adverts using the applicant tracking system onto NHS jobs and other channels and supports the recruitment administration throughout the process
  • To advertise job vacancies on NHS Jobs and other media, where vacancy requisitions have been approved
  • To source external candidates by using both internal and external databases
  • Maintains and supports talent pools within the applicant tracking system
  • To monitor applications from candidates via NHS Jobs and the inbox and when the vacancy has closed, ensure that the long/shortlisting is conducted by the hiring manager/panels in a timely manner
  • To support and provide guidance to Hiring Managers on interviews and ensure that interview packs are provided to Hiring Manager in preparation for their interviews
  • To support the use and utilisation of social media and other paid advertising channels.
  • To carry out pre-employment checks as required in accordance with trust procedures and timelines
  • To provide recruitment information to Trust managers, support the Divisions to data gather data and management information
  • To monitor the recruitment inbox and the applicant tracking system communications and respond to all communications in a timely manner.
  • To support the establishment control process when reviewing and actioning request to recruit submissions
  • To provide HR administrative support on staffing initiatives and projects
  • To support open days and events both at a local and national level
  • To coordinate and support the on-boarding process for new starters making full use of automated processes and supporting systems
