Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare Trust would like to share the opportunity to be part of a large, well established community and specialist dental service, working amongst a professional, friendly dental team. We work across the boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster.

[£44,955-£67,433] pro rata per annum

We are looking for:

1.Band A Dental Officer 0.6 WTE Permanent location TBC

2.Band A Dental Officer 0.6 WTE Fixed Term until March 2024 location TBC

3.Band A Paediatric Dentist 0.4 WTE Maternity cover 1 year fixed term Parsons Green.

The post holder will work with the Community and Specialist Dental Service Team delivering dental care and advice to patients of the Community Dental Service including children and adults with special care needs across a variety of clinical settings.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work with the Community and Specialist Dental Service Team delivering dental care and advice to children and their parents/carers attending the Community Dental Service.

The post holder will also provide dental care to patients referred to, or accessing, the Special Care and Community Dental Service.

We serve patients from various community groups, including those with additional needs such and complex medical, those with learning difficulties, complex social histories, the homeless population, looked after children and anxious children.

Services to be provided include preventive care and advice, dental treatment, care under sedation.

The post holder will undertake routine dental care to patients referred to, or accessing, the Special Care and Community Dental Service.

The post holder may also care for patients identified as requiring urgent care by multi-disciplinary teams.
