We are currently looking for a Band 5 physiotherapists to join our inpatient general rehabilitation team at Furness Ward, Willesden Centre for Health and Care, based in Willesden. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering holistic, client centred and evidence-based care.

Main duties of the job

You will have a role in actively developing your physiotherapy practice and delivering evidence-based rehabilitation and assessments for clients currently staying at Furness General rehab ward. Furness ward is a 19-bed in-patient general rehabilitation unit accepting adult clients with a range of presentations and co-morbidities with various general conditions, post operative surgeries, falls, fractures.

As part of your role, you will be expected to build and maintain key relationships with acute and community referrers to the services as well as partners in the community across CLCH.

All rotations have a strong MDT focus and give candidates the opportunity to work alongside Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Assistants, Nurses, Doctors, Consultants, Speech and Language Therapists and Psychologists.

  • Registration with the Heath Professions Council
  • Wide ranging student experience including musculoskeletal outpatients, adult/older people's rehabilitation, community rehabilitation and neurology placements
  • Registration with the Chartered society of Physiotherapy

Desirable

  • Registration with a special interest group relevant to the rotations
