Job summary
Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) is looking to a recruit a Senior Dental Officer (Band B post) in Paediatric Dentistry 3 days per week 22.5 hours.
The post holder will work with the Community and Specialist Dental Service Team delivering dental care and advice to children attending the Community Dental Service. To provide examination, diagnosis, treatment planning and care management for a range of patients to the expected competency level of a Band B dentist.
To support the senior management team and undertake managerial roles as appropriate.
There is opportunity to work collaboratively with local acute trusts.
Applicants should have full registration with the GDC, a relevant postgraduate qualification and experience in providing care to paediatric patients.

Main duties of the job
This post is predominantly clinical in nature. The duties will be to provide high quality oral health care to children, phobic children, children with behavioural problems and children who cannot be treated by a General Dental Practitioner and who require specialised care.
The Senior Dental Officer will, together with the Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry, take a lead in ensuring that paediatric dental care across the service is delivered to a high standard, as set out by the Salaried Primary Dental Care Services (England) Terms and Conditions of Service.
