Are you interested in developing your skills, knowledge, and experience insafeguarding?An exciting opportunity has arisen to take on a Safeguarding Adult advisor role working in the Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust safeguarding team.
We are looking for an experienced practitioner, with a good understanding of safeguarding adults at risk and multi-agency working, who is keen to develop their knowledge and skills in this area of practice.
The successful candidate will work alongside the CLCH Named Professionals for Safeguarding/MCA Lead (Hertfordshire & Barnet) to deliver the safeguarding agenda in accordance with national and local guidance and legislation. This is an exciting opportunity to work across both our Hertfordshire and North Central London Divisions.
The post holder must have excellent communication and negotiating skills as in this specialist area of work, there is often the need to constructively challenge practice and decision making to achieve best outcomes and safeguard adults accessing CLCH services.
Main duties of the job
The post will include the provision of specialist safeguarding adult's supervision, advice and support and training on safeguarding adults matters to a wide variety of disciplines across CLCH.
The post will also include supporting the Named Professional in leading on MCA and monitoring quality in relation to Deprivation of Liberties (DoLs). The successful candidate may be required to represent the organisation at strategic safeguarding adults and domestic abusemeetings.
The post holder should have a sound theoretical background in relation to adult health and safeguarding and be able to demonstrate relevant safeguarding adult's knowledge and skills.The post holder will have access to clinical and safeguarding supervision and training, to support their personal and professional development.
