The BCHC Learning Disability Community Team are you looking for a full time, experienced Business Operations Manager. Will your next step into management use your business and operational skills and experience?

Do you want to lead and support Clinicians to ensure that the people living with Learning Disabilities across Birmingham City are offered high quality, safe services that ensure they live as independently and maintain a fully integrated community presence?

You will have operational responsibilities within The Community Team.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated, and willing to learn new skills and knowledge, have excellent and robust interpersonal and communication skills, be flexible to meet service needs, have an ability to work in a challenging and busy environment and able to work as part of the multi-professional team.

As this is a development role, experience of management is preferable but not essential as a full induction and support plan will be agreed with the individual on appointment based on their learning needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to enhance their existing skills and knowledge with a support plan tailored to the development needs.

The successful post holder will be based at The Greenfields, however there will be an expectation to attend meetings across the City as required. Please note the pay band for this post is Band 7 under AFC and the successful applicant will be required to participate in the senior on call rota after a period of induction and training.
