A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated, experienced, pragmatic and results driven HR Professional to join us in the Corporate HR Team supporting the Head of HR Resourcing/Senior HR Business Partner. This role is suitable for an HR professional who enjoys working within a fast-paced environment and would like the opportunity to develop a broad generalist portfolio of HR experience. You will provide support and advice to staff and managers in respect of all aspects of employee relations casework, job evaluation, sickness absence management, delivering training, organisational change, supporting consultation meetings and 1:1 meetings as and when required and attending various divisional meetings providing support to managers. As well as working collaboratively with a wide range of managers in all aspects of their service developments, you will also be involved in organisation wide HR initiatives. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for CIPD qualified candidates with generalist experience to further develop their skills and confidence in a large, complex organisation. Experience of working in a similar role in the NHS would be an advantage.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will thrive working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in supporting the development and service delivery of the Corporate Senior HR Advisor as a line manager. You will be responsible for the consistent delivery of an efficient, responsive and professional employee relations service, leading by example, providing advice, guidance and supporting the continuous development of the team giving critical feedback. This proactive role focuses on key areas of activity including management of sickness absence, carrying a caseload of investigations into employment matters encompassing all aspects of employee relations together with providing sound advice to all managers.
The HR team is welcoming and supportive, and everything we do is underpinned by our core Trust values. We will consider a variety of flexible working arrangements including agile working. You will also provide support to the Senior HR Business Partner with other workforce projects, policy development. This is a hybrid role which allows the successful post holder to work from home however there will also be cross-site working across other Trust sites in Birmingham and travel to meetings throughout the day will be required.
