Job summary

The West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre (WMRC) provides a range of services for people in the West Midlands to assist them in managing their disabilities. The Service is for people with physical, cognitive, emotional and social disabilities. All our services are provided by teams of clinical professionals and support staff who aim to provide integrated services in ways that best meet the needs of patients and their carers.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive administrative and business support to the departments within the Rehabilitation Services.

To work as part of a team to carry out administrative duties on a day to day basis. This may include covering essential and appropriate operational duties in the absence of colleagues and some supervisory duties. This post may include training of other staff members and knowledge transfer.

Main duties of the job

The post of the administrator will support all services based at the West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre and will cover a range of administrative duties, predominately data input, telephone answering, monitoring of generic/personal email accounts, scheduling of appointments, pulling patient records, placing equipment orders and supervising staff within you designated team this will also include training of staff Experience working within the West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre and on the on the following systems would be desirable:

The successful candidates will have excellent communication and IT skills with a flexible approach to work that will meet the ever changing needs of the Service. In addition, successful candidates must work well as part of a large team, be self-motivated and able to prioritise their workload.
