Job summary

Are you an exceptional clinical nursing leader dedicated to placing patients and staff at the forefront of your practice? Do you have a proven track record of effectively leading and inspiring a team? We are in search of a compassionate, motivated, and highly skilled Band 7 Clinical Team Leader to assume leadership on Ward 6 at Moseley Hall Hospital. Ward 6, a 26-bedded unit, specialises in sub-acute rehabilitation.

As the appointed individual, you will be entrusted with 24-hour responsibility for ward management, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and experiences. Your role will involve being visible and supportive, overseeing and participating in clinical practices with staff to maintain their wellbeing and foster a skilled workforce. The accountability extends to ensuring safe and effective clinical practices within your designated area.

Please note this will be a full-time position, 37.5 hours a week preferably Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job

To work closely with Matron and General Manager to deliver excellent patient care to meet CQC Standards and achieve sound business performance through patient satisfaction as well as tight control of costs. The Post holder will have 24 hour continuing professional and managerial responsibility ensuring the unit is appropriately staffed safely according to care needs.

The post holder will be required to participate in the Clinical Governance Structure and contribute to the development and enhancement of services within their area of responsibility.
