Job summary
The role of the Facilities Contracts Monitoring Lead (Soft FM) is to proactively manage and monitor the Soft Facilities Management (soft FM) contracts and contractors in line with service specifications, KPI's and performance management. The post holder will be the key communication point for externally contracted providers including but are not limited to Cleaning, window cleaning, pest control, security and linen/laundry
The post holder will manage and undertake monitoring exercises for the frequency, cost and quality of delivery of the cleaning soft fm contract ensuring it is well managed based on best practice guidance and the National standards of healthcare cleanliness 2021.
Main duties of the job
To work within the facilities department and team to be responsible for updating contract service matrices' and generating variation to contract documentation. To be the lead in monitoring and analysing pay and non-pay expenditure to ensure effective use of BCHC financial resources within the set budgets. Report any deviation in expenditure to the Facilities Support Services Manager and implement actions to mitigate impact of deteriating budget.
The postholder will be required to monitor all relevant soft facilities management contracts with financial responsibility of approximately 1 million.
