Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative speech and language therapist to provide assessment and treatment for patients with a variety of speech, language and/or swallowing needs, enjoys working within an interdisciplinary team and is passionate about supporting adults with complex acquired neurological conditions to achieve their goals.

Main duties of the job
The team comprises of administrative staff, speech & language therapists, physiotherapists, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, nurses and skilled support staff. You will be working as part of a large and supportive therapy team with excellent training and development opportunities as well as a robust supervision and appraisal system. There are well-established team meetings and CPD is well supported. You will be encouraged to take part in service development projects as appropriate.
You will have keyworker responsibility for some of the patients, therefore excellent communication skills and flexibility is essential. You will line manage and provide supervision to more junior speech and language therapists, students and support staff/assistants.
