Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Assistant to join our fun loving and friendly Learning and Organisational Development Team. We provide training interventions to a range of internal and external customers across the NHS, independent contractors, healthcare providers and others. You will be a key player within the team supporting all aspects of training provision; ensuring high quality standards and professionalism are applied to all aspects of the team's functions.
You must hold a Level 2 qualification in Business Administration or have equivalent relevant experience in addition to excellent IT skills - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook.), customer service skills and experience of providing administrative support in a busy office environment.
Knowledge of ESR (electronic staff record) and experience of working in a training team is desirable.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to use the Electronic Staff Record to coordinate the booking of a variety of training events across LCHS and maintain training records relating to all education and training activities being able to respond to queries in relation to bookings and general training enquiries.

Plan and organise trainers and resources to training programmes when required Send pre-course reminders to managers and delegates Send certificates of attendance to external candidates Use knowledge of Social Media to promote the Learning & Organisational Development Team Assist the Learning & Organisational Development Team to keep processes updated through knowledge of IT To book meetings as directed by the Learning & Organisational Development Team and ensure that suitable accommodation/refreshments/equipment are provided Be able to provide general administrative support within the Learning & Organisational Development Team.
