General Practitioners (GP) - Lincoln UTC

Salary £88k to £123k per annum for 37.5 hours per week

Part time posts available, flexible working options

The UTC GPs are expected to maintain the present high quality standards of all service delivery areas and encourage and promote the development of excellent clinical care and clinical governance. The post will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of professional and administrative colleagues to provide a range of appropriate services to the community of Lincolnshire.

We are looking for proactive, dedicated and dynamic individuals who can be part of a fast- moving, innovative and ambitious team, dedicated to supporting members of our communities to manage their own health at home and reduce the need to go into hospital.

We are rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission (only 4 community trusts in the country who are) and are playing an integral part in shaping future health service provision countywide alongside partner health and social care organisations.

We currently are looking for outstanding, committed GPs to support our Urgent Care Centre at Lincoln.

Main duties of the job

Patients treated within the service can walk-in to these centres or can attend for a booked appointment by calling NHS 111. In addition to building based, face to face appointments, LCHS provides a home visiting service and a virtual Clinical Assessment Service that operates 24/7 and provides senior clinical assessment at the front end of Urgent Care.

About us

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust is in the top 25 per cent of all community trusts for overall staff engagement in the 2021 NHS National Staff Survey.

At LCHS, we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where all belong. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in LCHS' workforce.

LCHS recognises the increasing demand for more flexibility in working practices in order to accommodate the personal goals and commitments that employees experience at different stages during their working lives. Flexible working opportunities such as part-time working, compressed hours, job shares, and hybrid working models can help staff to balance their personal and work commitments. Arrangements can be put in place if it can be shown that the needs of the individual can be balanced with those of the service and the impact on other team members, enabling the Trust to recruit and retain skilled staff, raise staff morale, reduce absenteeism and respond to changing service needs more effectively.

We are an ambassador of a learning culture that will support the right individual to progress in their chosen career through an 'earn while you learn' apprenticeship programme.
