Job summary

Our Trust has been successful in securing funding for a clinician to develop and lead a pioneering Volunteer to Career programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance project management and people management skills, in a highly supportive environment.

Main duties of the job

You will be passionate about promoting careers in healthcare within our communities in the east of the county. You will be skilled at relationship building and influencing your clinical colleagues, with an enthusiasm to coach and develop volunteers.

You will have autonomy to create and develop a new volunteering programme that introduces people to the fantastic careers available in a community health trust.

Job responsibilities

Key aspects of the roles are

  • Partnership working with key stakeholders/ departments e.g. Volunteer Services, HR
  • To design/scope/ plan Volunteer to Career initiatives e.g. pathways, improving environment & culture of volunteering
