Lincolnshire Integrated Sexual Health Services (LiSH) have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Business Support Manager. The LiSH team consists of medical, nursing, clinical and administration staff to provide countywide services to our patients.
The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive administrative and business support by developing and monitoring clinical services projects, policy, performance management and governance frameworks. They will undertake daily management of the administration and clerical staff in the department, ensuring that there is continuous service delivery.
This full time role requires the successful candidate to work weekly between our three main sites in Lincoln, Grantham and Boston. Base can be discussed at interview and LCHS does support additional travel allowances.
Hours of work will be discussed at interview and there may be requirement to work a longer day during the week to meet the needs of the service.
Clinical services provided 8am -8pm (Mon -Thurs) and 8am-5pm (Fri)
Central booking lines and reception hours 8am - 7.30pm (Mon-Thurs) and 8am-4.30pm (Fri)
Access to reliable public transport or own vehicle is required to carry out this countywide role.
Main duties of the job
- Support the Clinical Service Lead and Senior Clinical Team; including business continuity, clinical winter action plans and all IT initiatives for the service; planning and implementing action plans and quality checks.
- Co-ordinate a range of activities and events across the service, facilitating effective utilisation of resources across multiple sites within the service area and within the engagement team.
- Daily monitoring of staffing electronic monitor to ensure maintained to reflect annual leave, sickness, training and calculate entitlements.
- Identify and lead on administrative recruitment needs across multiple sites within the service area; implementing procedures to ensure organisational needs are met and staffing levels are maintained in line with trust policy.
- Produce relevant documentation and information, to support the senior managers of the service, as appropriate. Co-ordinate and monitor specific systems and practices including the provision of regular and ad-hoc performance reports.
- Lead on the devising, co-ordination and professional production of information, documentation and resources across the service including Strategies, SOPs and Policies. The post holder will maintain databases and information systems, monitoring review dates related to the area of activity.
