We are looking for a dynamic and innovative exercise specialist to take up this exciting opportunity to enlarge our cardiac rehabilitation team.
You will have opportunity to develop specialist skills in caring for cardiology patients and you will receive excellent support through mentorship and in-service training including support with developing leadership skills. As a department we pride ourselves on the level of teaching and support we can offer to staff with both internal and external training opportunities well supported.

Main duties of the job
- Work as an accountable and autonomous practitioner, managing a caseload of patients with complex cardiac conditions.
- Support the provision and development of high-quality patient focused cardiac rehabilitation services within the trust
- Work with support of cardiac rehabilitation team leads to improve clinical outcomes and to manage symptom burden for cardiac rehabilitation patients.
- Providing education and advice to patient/families to support, health behaviour changes, lifestyle risk factor management, psychosocial health, medical risk management.
- We are looking for an individual who can lead change, demonstrates strong resilience to the pressures within the NHS and continues to strive for excellence. A positive can-do attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with system partners is a must
