Job summary

The Learning & Organisational Development Trainer will be an integral member of the Training Delivery Team supporting the provision of education and training interventions.

The post holder will facilitate the delivery of the LCHS Corporate Trust Induction and annual Mandatory update programme.

They will be a key player in the team supporting all aspects of training provision ensuring high quality standards and professionalism are applied to all aspects of the team's functions to ensure that the service provided meets the high expectations of both internal and external customers.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to deliver our Core Training programmes to all our staff groups. The role is focused on providing a range of Learning and Development across the whole of the organisation.

Duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:-

  • Organising and Deliver our Core Training Programmes
  • Design and Create Training Programmes, Lesson & Session Plans
  • Create and Deliver content across multiple platforms
  • Maintain processes and procedures for training access, delivery and administration
  • Work closing with the Training Delivery Lead to ensure organisational training needs are met

Skills :-

  • Experienced in delivering training and facilitating groups and individual training
  • Experience of creating a range of training and assessment packages
  • Experience of digital training tools, eLearning, blended and other delivery methods
  • Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills
  • Developed interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working for the NHS or Healthcare setting
  • Ability to work as part of a Team and on their own and be self-motivated.

About us

The Learning & Organisational Development Team sit within the People and Innovation Directorate. The team provides training interventions to a range of internal and external customer across the NHS, independent contractors, healthcare providers and others.

This role sits within the Training Delivery Team and primarily is based at the Trust Headquarters, Beech House in Lincoln. With the opportunity to work flexible and from home at times.

The Team aims to make a real difference and supports colleagues and gives them the sense of belonging. And works to a set of values that underpins all aspects of the role.
