Job summary

This is an exciting and pivotal role in our highly recommended trust.

You will be working to support our 24/7 service based in the Operations Centre who cover 365 days a year.

Hours will be worked over a shift pattern that may contain weekends and nights. The main shift pattern will work over four days between 0800 and 2000.

There will be a requirement and expectation that staff will work over Christmas and New Year.

You will be critical to the delivery of high quality care and patient experience, across Lincolnshire.

Main duties of the job

In this role you will be the main point of contact for processing referrals into our community services.You will be part of a busy office environment and will carry out a variety of duties including responding to any calls to the Operations Centre, timely processing of referrals, dealing with all associated correspondence and ensuring patient records are accurately and quickly updated.

With exceptional communication skills, a positive approach and commitment to delivering our business aims, you will have the ability to adapt and develop and maintain your professional and personal credibility. Previous experience of dealing with members of the public either face to face or by telephone is essential and knowledge of SystmOne would be an advantage. A good knowledge of computer systems alongside excellent communication skills are essential for the service. Ability to communicate effectively with both public and professionals is a daily requirement
