Health Care Support Worker, Archer ward/Assessment unit
Band 2
22.5hours per week
Shift work covering 24 hours a day, seven days a week
Early 07:00-14:50, Late 13:30-21:30, Nights 21:00-07:30
An opportunity has arisen for Health Care Support Worker positions, on Archer Ward and Assessment unit at Louth County Hospital. The successful applicant will have a flexible approach to work which reflects the needs of the busy clinical area. The working hours include weekends and bank holidays.
Archer ward consists of 24 beds in total that caters for rehabilitation patients and palliative patients. Archer assessment unit consists of 8 beds that caters for 72 hour assessment admission.
Main duties of the job
Briefly, the duties include the delivery of care to the patients as identified in their specific plans, to the highest standard within the clinical areas. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, under supervision, and be willing to enhance your skill base through training provision
