Specialist Immunisation Practitioner

Job summary

We are looking for two part time public health focused nurse to join our friendly and supportive team in Essex. The team work across the county providing immunisations in schools and community settings, including BCG and Hepatitis B programmes. These vacancies are primarily to cover immunisation clinics in three maternity units - Southend , Basildon and Broomfield. Travel to all three sites is expected on a weekly basis. When required, cover of other CSAIS community and school clinics is expected, where training has been given.

Main duties of the job

Delivering immunisations across Essex to eligible individuals, with a focus on maternal vaccines.

We are passionate about protecting health through vaccination.

The role will require the successful candidates to travel and so you must hold a full valid driving license and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
