Job summary

Are you an enthusiastic, self-motivated and compassionate dietitian with a genuine interest in working with children and young people and their families? This is an exciting opportunity for a Dietitian who has experience in paediatrics to join our friendly team to provide 9 months fixed term maternity cover (funding is being sought to extend this to 12 months).

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work alongside the lead dietitian for paediatrics and other band 6 dietitians as part of the countywide Nutrition and Dietetics team.

The successful candidate will be supported in managing a caseload of outpatient paediatric patients with a variety of conditions, including paediatric home enteral feeding. You will work independently but also as part of a multidisciplinary team.

A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purpose is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum and a maximum payment per annum, pro rata where applicable.
