We are looking for clinicians who can work flexibly, have excellent communications skills, enjoy working with a wide range of communities and individuals, and are passionate about promoting the health of others.
While previous experience of delivering vaccinations is useful, full training and induction will be offered to successful candidates.
The work will involve some weekend and evening work to meet the needs of our communities.

Main duties of the job
Working independently and in a team delivering a wide range of vaccinations to all age ranges.
Working in schools, community clinics, and other venues.
Providing assessment and review of missed vaccinations and reviewing vaccination histories for those not vaccinated in England.
The role will require the successful candidates to travel and so you must hold a full valid driving license and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

The Community Immunisation Practitioner is responsible for the delivery of the Immunisation Programmes as delegated by the Senior Immunisation nurse, Clinical lead or Team Lead.
- Reporting to the Immunisation Team and Clinical Lead the Community Immunisation Practitioner will support the development of the service and work with colleagues to ensure the delivery of a safe and effective Community and School Age Immunisation programme.
- To be responsible for the delivery of an effective and efficient Immunisation Programme in partnership with service users, other stakeholders and commissioners.
- To be responsible for collecting accurate data at each session
- To work collaboratively in the planning and delivery of immunisation programmes across communities in order to achieve the KPIs across the programme.
- To work with local statutory, private and voluntary providers, and users to develop and promote practice that is accessible and responsive to all section of the local community, ensuring that services are targeted to the most vulnerable groups and individuals to support social inclusion.
- To promote and monitor safe and effective practice
- To provide and promote access to information and other services, to refer as appropriate. To liaise and work in partnership with statutory and non-statutory agencies, and other health services colleagues.
