Applying experience and skill sets developed in relatable role(s), you would be working with all areas of the organisation to support the effective management of risk across the Trust. You will be proactive and able to engage effectively with colleagues to support the team in delivering support, oversight and assurance around all areas of risk and incident management.HCT prides itself on being a great place to work - one of our four key strategic objectives. Main duties of the job
This role will form an important part of the Corporate Governance Team, supporting the management of the Trust's patient and non-patient incident and risk records. You will support the implementation of robust systems and processes to enable data quality, consistency and integrity. This will support clinicians, managers, patients and the public to have the highest possible confidence in health data, enhancing the provision of the services and safeguard care and patient safety.
Working proactively with a fellow Risk Management Analyst and the Head of Risk and Assurance, we expect you to support the delivery of the risk management agenda. This will include, delivering internal and external reporting and supporting the patient safety agenda within the Trust. With responsibilities for overseeing data quality in the Trust's Local Risk and Incident Management system, you will need a keen eye for detail.
You will be required to engage with staff at all levels of seniority, supporting their understanding and use of the Local Risk and Incident Management system, providing training and addressing issues as they arise. As a primary point of contact on risk and incident management processes for a range of staff, you will have strong communication skills.

- Provide continuous oversight of incidents across the Trust, providing assurance around the timely and accurate capture in the Local Risk and Incident Management System and management of these through the appropriate workflows.
- Monitor the teams central mailbox and respond to all user requests and enquiries received, on a timely basis.
- Support user understanding and implementation of the Trusts Local Risk and Incident Management System and associated workflows, through provision of support, training and guidance.
- Provide relevant statistical and trend analysis and reporting to Trust governance committees and groups, supporting individual teams and services in their decision making and to learn lessons from the incidents and risks.
- Work with the team to assist in the complete, timely and accurate capture of risks.
- Ensure data is complete and accurate prior to internal and external distribution and uploading of data to national learning systems.
- Provide support and cover for other functions during periods of leave within the wider team.
- Support the ongoing development of systems and processes, working collaboratively with the team and external system provider.
- Occasional travel to other Trust locations.
