Job summary
We are recruiting a band 6 Project Coordinator to join the Transformation Team at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive candidate who wants to support key organisational transformation projects that will have a direct impact on the health and wellbeing of the people we serve. The Project Coordinator will work with other colleagues from the Transformation Team as well as operational, clinical and corporate colleagues from across the organisation, and also with system partner organisations.
We are particularly interested in speaking to candidates who can demonstrate a thorough understanding of basic project management methodology, have excellent communication and relationship building skills and is dedicated to their continuing professional development, which we will be keen to support.
Main duties of the job
To provide dedicated project support to specific projects within the Transformation team as required.
To use project management skills to support the planning, organising, implementation and delivery of projects.
To support the development and updates of project documentation e.g.scope definitions, risk and issue registers and action logs, including governance processes.
To coordinate and facilitate meetings e.g., with agenda planning, minute taking and action tracking.
Liaise with internal & external stakeholders at all levels including
frontline staff, senior and executive managers, and service users.
To use own creativity and ingenuity to contribute ideas to projects and
improvement initiatives
- Actively contribute as a vital member of the Transformation Team and wider Strategy Directorate, enthusiastically supporting colleagues an attending and contributing to team and directorate meetings

- Educated to Degree level or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Project management qualification e.g. LEAN, PRINCE2
- Other relevant qualifications or further training demonstrating commitment to continual professional development and improvement
Experience and Knowledge
Desirable
- Good working knowledge of project principles, techniques, and tools.
- Experience of coordinating and supporting key meetings including agenda planning, minute taking and action tracking.
- Experience of working in a project management environment.
- Previous experience in similar role within healthcare environment and/or public sector.
