Job summary
A 12 months fixed term position for a Dental Therapist working in an award winning special care community dental service.
The service is looking for a part time therapist (15 hours per week) to work at the dental department in Cheshunt Community Hospital.

This fixed term post will include both routine and complex dental therapist care . Your patients will include children, young people and adults who require special care due to their possible learning and physical disabilities, mental health problems or medical conditions. The service prides itself on providing outstanding quality care including treatment under inhalation and IV sedation as well as general anaesthetic.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be based at the wonderful newly refurbished dental clinic at Cheshunt Community Hospital. The clinic has excellent sedation facilities as well as a sensory room for patients and offers consultant led special care dentistry for a variety of special needs children and adults.
We will only consider a part time position with a maximum of 15 hours per week. Please note this is a fixed term position for 12 months.
Hertfordshire Special Care Dental Service was awarded outstanding in their last CQC inspection and with HCT communications team won the NHS elect national award for exemplary patient experience in 2019.
