The Community and School Aged Immunisation Service is looking to recruit a dynamic and public health focused Team Lead to lead the delivery of school aged and community immunisations across Suffolk. We welcome applications from experienced leaders or those wishing to take the first steps in to a leadership role. This is a rare opportunity to join the service in a job share Team Lead role.
The post holder will provide clinical and professional leadership and line management to a team of registered health care professionals and administrators.
Successful applicants will be required at interview to present a short public health/immunisation focused presentation on a subject which will shared after short listing.

Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering immunisations sessions in school and other community settings, and responding to outbreaks which require a vaccination response across the county.
The Team lead works agilely to review and target interventions to maximise vaccination uptake.
Experience of working with families and children, and those from underserved communities would be of value.
As a team leader you will demonstrate excellent interpersonal & communication skills and have the ability to be adaptable and flexible.
Experience of leading a team through change would be of value.
Evidence must be provided of keeping up to date in practice issues and maintaining awareness of developments in the provision of community and school aged immunisations.
A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
Whilst it is not a legal requirement, Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust encourages and supports all staff to be vaccinated as this remains the best line of defence against COVID-19.
