Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for general office management as well as leadership, supervision and line management of administrative staff . They will also be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining effective systems and processes to ensure effective administrative support is in place within the dental service. Applicants must have good organisational skills and significant experience working in administration. Warmth and empathy are important as you will have contact with vulnerable service users on a daily basis. Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, a friendly approach and being enthusiastic are all required for this post. A knowledge of dental software would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
