Job summary

Are you an administrator with excellent IT skills who also likes working with people? And who wants to develop their career into a more specialist area.

This is a new role in Leaning and Development team working on our training programme, supporting our Learning and Development Coordinators. You will work with staff across Hertfordshire Community Trust, as well as our trainers and the team.

You will be interested in developing yourself and others, and we will want you to complete an apprenticeship programme to help you in this role and for your own career aspirations.

The role is based at Howard Court in Welwyn Garden City and will be a mixture of office and home working days. We are happy to consider flexible working requests.

Main duties of the job

JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:

This role is to provide support to the administration of the Trust training programmes to all staff groups, as agreed with the Learning and Development Coordinator.

Based at Howard Court, you will work with the team on the day to day management of individual training seminars and the Trust Learning Management System (My Learning Zone). You will set up the training rooms as required, working with trainers and welcoming staff to sessions.

You'll have daily contact with individual team members and managers by email and phone. You will respond to their queries, giving advice about the suitability of courses.

  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics
  • oApprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 Business & Administration or equivalent experience and knowledge

  • Computer literate including proficient use of all Microsoft Systems

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Training processes and practices
