Are you a dietitian with an interest in working with adults in the community?
We have a new opportunity for a band 5 dietitian, to join the community team at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust (HCT) in East and North Hertfordshire, delivering a service as part of the Intermediate Care Team.
The post requires a full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purpose is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
This post would also suit a soon to qualify or newly qualified dietitian.

Main duties of the job
The role includes clinics (face to face and virtual), joint home visits, care home audits and education, and supporting the dietitians for Discharge Home to Assess service and at Community hospitals. This is a permanent post, advertised as full time, however part time applications would be considered.
The successful candidate will work as part of the broader HCT Nutrition and Dietetic Service, which is Hertfordshire wide and comprises of a variety of roles including home enteral feeding, children and young people, frailty, cancer and neurology.
We are an innovative service, working alongside various partners and specialties. We are part of the wider ICS Nutrition group, and work closely with our CCG colleagues on real food - food based initiatives.
This post will work alongside another band 5 ICT dietitian, and across Herts we have over 10 staff working at levels band 4 and 5 as part of our overall supportive and inspiring service.
We are committed to delivering a quality service, value staff training and CPD, participate regularly in student training and have a robust appraisal and supervisory framework. Electronic records are used throughout the Trust, further aiding our ability to work across a wide variety of settings and be in a position to work as part of an MDT, yet work remotely if needed as part of a hybrid approach to our work/ life balance.
