We are looking for highly motivated, creative individuals to join our team that is committed to improving child and adolescent mental health in Hertfordshire.
Step2 is an Early Intervention CAMHS service that is seeking to recruit an innovative, enthusiastic practitioner who has training and experience of working therapeutically with young people. Theindividual will be committed to providing high quality of care for children and young people while working in a dynamic, supportive and caring team.
We have vacancies in our triage and assessment team delivering high quality assessments and formulations of mild to moderate mental health difficulties and will hold a small treatment caseloadin addition. We also have vacancies in our treatment team delivering brief targeted interventions to children and young people up to the age of 19.
Main duties of the job
Educated to post graduate level in a child mental health discipline you will be delivering highly skilled clinical work. You will be expected to work flexibly, willing to work across the County of Hertfordshire and be able to adapt the way you work to best meet the needs of our most vulnerable children and families.You will have a key role in assessing mental health needs, formulating treatment plans and liaising with partners and families to ensure the treatment pathway is most appropriate for that child. You will deliver a high standard of therapeutic intervention to children and young people with a mild to moderate mental health presentation.
A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
