hours over 4 evenings 17:30- 23:30)

You will be
working with a team of admin supports within the Countywide Evening and night
hub at Droitwich Health Centre.
We are looking
for candidates with good communication skills, a flexible approach and
enthusiasm to work within the team. You
should be a committed, highly-motivated and forward-thinking individual who is
a good team player.
The successful
candidate will also assist the team to develop and achieve team and
organizational objectives. They will also participate in staff meetings and
training & development activities as necessary to ensure their skills and
knowledge are up to date.
Main duties of the job
The successful
candidate will support nursing staff in triaging and planning patient visits
whilst maintaining the individuals privacy and dignity, values diversity and
respects cultural and individual rights and choices. This will involve taking
calls direct from patients and their families, and other services such as the
Ambulance service, GP out of hours, and discharging hospitals. Then assisting
the Registered nurses in allocating visits through IT systems to the nurses
working across the County.

- Educated to academic Level 2 (e.g. GCSE Grade A-C, NVQ2, OCR/RSA2, City and Guilds 2) in a Business Administration-related subject or Considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 2 qualification on appointment to post
- I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer
Experience

- Recent, relevant experience in an Administrative/Secretarial/ Reception Role
Desirable
- Previous, relevant NHS experience
