Job summary

  • We offer Support to Service Users replacement care and provide a home from home environment.
  • Our service offers 24 hours, over seven days a week and is a nurse led support and therefore the shifts reflect this.
  • There is a 3 shift pattern that is adopted mornings, afternoons and nights which are rotated within our staff team. hours and working pattern per week e.g. 30 hours over 4 days out of 7 on a rota basis.

Main duties of the job

  • We provide a nurse led service for adults, covering 7 days a week, 24 hours each day.
  • The Successful applicant will have the opportunity to join a committed, dynamic staff team.
  • A desire to offer a home from home experience for each of the service users accessing Churchview.
  • Churchview is a unique servicer only one of nine in England, for adults with learning disabilities and living with significant health needs. We do not compromise on the support we offer our Service users.
  • We are a teaching service, supporting student nurses with placements with us and therefore support each staff member to develop as our service evolves and assist with a broad spectrum of courses to enhance each team members work experience.
  • Applicants must be aware that they may be asked to work at other sites if the need is required.

  • Level 3 qualification (e.g., A-level, NVQ3) in Care or Level 2 qualification (e.g., GCSE, NVQ2) in care and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 3 qualification on appointment to post
