Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, organised and enthusiastic individual to work as a Receptionist/Administrator in our Specialist Community Mental Health Service in St Owen Street in central Hereford. This is a permanent contract for 37.5 hours per week. You will be part of a small administrative team, working alongside two part time Receptionist/Administrators offering support to a wide range of specialist community service teams. Main duties of the job
As part of our team you will undertake a full range of reception, clerical and administrative responsibilities. You will provide an efficient, welcoming and helpful reception service for patients attending the building and will ensure that patient confidentiality is observed at all times. You will be expected to demonstrate an efficient and pleasant telephone manner when dealing with patients, staff and clinician enquiries and will take accurate details and record information within the patient record on the Trust database (Carenotes). You will take responsibility for dealing with incoming and outgoing post. Good communication skills are essential as you will need to liaise directly with patients, clinicians and other staff.
