Job summary

The Trust IT Department is a fast growing, energetic and collaborative team who strive to provide the best service it can to the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Health & Care NHS Trust. We are passionate about how our department can provide the best CARE to Trust colleagues, from our administrative team right through to our CIO.

We are looking for a candidate who is at ease with talking to users and suppliers, is organised, with an attention to detail, who will play an integral part in the smooth running of the IT Department. You will need to bring with you a positive attitude, willingness to learn, great communication and excellent customer service skills, enthusiasm, be caring and highly motivated.

Main duties of the job

A typical day will see you responding to enquiries, raising purchase orders, obtaining quotations, working with stakeholders, prioritising workloads and adapting to changing demands. In return we are committed to developing our employees and will support you every step of the way Our aim is to make IT accessible to all, and to make IT as simple as possible to all Trust staff.

You will be required to work from Kings Court 1 in Worcester. The contracted hours are 37.5, working Monday to Friday.

  • Educated to academic Level 3 (e.g.: A-Level, NVQ3, OCR/RSA3, City and Guilds 3) in a Business/ Administration related subject or Educated to academic Level 2 (e.g. GCSE Grade A-C) with considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 3 qualification on appointment to post
