Are you looking to gain further experience in clinical and health research? We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Research Practitioner at HWHCT. You will work with clinical teams across the Trust to assist in the set up and delivery of National Institute of Health and Care Research studies (NIHR) research studies, as well as actively promoting research across the organisation.

It is an interesting and varied post working 22.5 hours per week on a fixed term contract until 31 March 2025. Our small research team works flexibly, following a hybrid model, working from home, the office, and across multiple sites, study-dependant.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for supporting delivery of NIHR portfolio research across both counties in line with agreed objectives and research protocols. You will identify barriers to recruitment, ensuring relevant personnel are aware, and provide input into the development and implementation of action plans to address issues. You will also support the team in reviewing new studies, completing, and submitting Expressions of Interest, and undertaking tasks to support the Capability and Capacity assessment process.
