Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, organised and enthusiastic individual to work as a Receptionist/Administrator in our Adult Community Mental Health Service in Ledbury. This is a permanent contract for 37.5 hours per week, working 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. You will be part of our administrative team, working in this small, friendly office alongside a Team Secretary and Medical Secretary offering support to our specialist community service team. Main duties of the job

As part of our team you will undertake a full range of reception, clerical and administrative responsibilities. You will provide an efficient, welcoming and helpful reception service for patients attending the building and will ensure that patient confidentiality is observed at all times. You will be expected to demonstrate an efficient and pleasant telephone manner when dealing with patients, staff and clinician enquiries and will take accurate details and record information within the patient record on the Trust database (Carenotes). You will take responsibility for dealing with incoming and outgoing post. Good communication skills are essential as you will need to liaise directly with patients, clinicians and other staff.
