(CLDTs) and the LD/A Intensive Support team?
The
opportunity has arisen for an excellent operational lead to take the helm at
what is an exciting time in these CQC Good rated services, who have every
potential to be outstanding.
Previous
experience in a similar service is desirable but key to this role is the transferable
ability to grasp service priorities and keep the teams on track to achieve
their clinical and strategic plans at senior level and to devise new ones
following commissioning, audit, budget setting and benchmarking exercises. At
the same time the service manager must have the values and attitude that puts
learning disabled patients, their carers and our staff at the heart of all they
do. A flexible/hybrid pattern of working can be negotiated.
Main duties of the job
You will
operationally manage the 2 Worcestershire community learning disability
services and one Intensive Support Team. You will have oversight over the
learning disability liaison nurses who work in Acute Hospital Trust sites
across Worcestershire.
You will
take responsibility for budgeting, workforce planning, training and education
plans and support the supervision and development plans of the team clinical
leads across the services.
You will
have overall responsibility for the performance and quality governance of the
services and contribute in a meaningful way to leading the teams to maintain
compliance with Trust, NHSE, RCPSych and NICE guidance
You will have the opportunity to lead on and
participate in, existing development work plans to gain QNLD accreditation for
your teams and work underway to devise an LD clinical strategyCo-production
will be integral to our clinical strategy work.
