Job summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic full time B6 Domiciliary Physiotherapist, to join our integrated Redditch and Bromsgrove Neighbourhood Teams.

The role involves delivering both planned and urgent physiotherapy interventions to the local adult population. You will be expected to contribute to high quality patient care and future development of our Neighbourhood Teams. You will have the opportunity to educate and supervise multi-professional clinicians.

Our teams maintain close links with Worcestershire Acute Trust and local Community Hospitals, in order to provide a multi-disciplinary and holistic approach to patient care. You will have an innovative approach and in return we will provide many opportunities for personal and professional development with chances to gain experience in service leadership and service re-design. You will receive clinical supervision from a Band 7 Clinical Lead and B6 colleagues. There will also be opportunities for student mentorship.

Main duties of the job

Undertake physiotherapeutic assessments and treatment of patients within the speciality who may have highly complex and acute / chronic presentation, to determine clinical diagnosis and physiotherapy treatments needed, and to maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.

Plan, deliver and evaluate care for patients in partnership with MDT colleagues and together lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of all elements of the rehabilitation programme

Clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of patients, to organise / triage this efficiently and effectively with regards to clinical priorities and use of time.
