Job summary
We are looking for an
enthusiastic, committed psychologist or psychological therapist to contribute
to the development and delivery of community adult mental health services in
the city teams in Herefordshire.
- There is opportunity for blended
working (on site and from home).
- Dependant on experience you will
be appointed at band 7 or band 8a. If
appointed at band 7, upon successful completion of the development plan you
will move to a band 8a. Copies of both

Herefordshire is at the

We have an integrated and inclusive psychological therapies pathway, offering
a range of standalone psychological interventions as well as delivering care to
those with more complex presentations. We
have robust Emotion Regulation and Psychosis Pathways and are central to the
development of Trauma Informed Care and promoting Compassionate Leadership
across the Trust.

Main duties of the job
The post is integral to the Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Service,
working alongside qualified psychologists, psychological therapists and art
therapists. New roles include CAPs and MHWBPs.
We emphasise the value of psychological assessment, formulation and
consultation early within a service-users journey. The post holder will
provide specialist individual interventions and contribute to our extensive
group programme. You will help to create and sustain more co-produced
psychologically and trauma informed environments, across the system of care. You
will be actively supported to develop service initiatives in line with key
national and local priorities and with local partners.
