A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Older Adult Mental Health Service to work with patients with functional and organic mental health needs and their carers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and motivated OT with experience working in a community mental health-based setting and formulating creative and imaginative treatment plans for patients.
You will be part of an integrated team consisting of one other Occupational Therapist, Consultant Psychiatrists, Junior Medics, Mental Health Nurses, a Clinical Psychologist, Support Workers, an Advanced Clinical Practitioner and Admin staff. You will also be supported by the Team Manager who offers a robust supervision and appraisal process.
The core working hours for our team are Monday to Friday 9-5 and we are willing to consider full time/ part time hours working with a minimum of 30 hours required to fulfil the role.

Main duties of the job
You will have a caseload of patients with functional and organic
mental health conditions who you will manage from assessment to discharge.
Attend MDT meetings weekly to discuss
allocations and complex cases
You

The Older Adult Mental Health service is
comprised of several specialist teams, you will work with our Inpatient wards
and Hospital at Home Team to meet the needs of more acutely unwell
patients.
