We are looking for a motivated, positive, and committed clinical team leader to join the 24hr Countywide Integrated Crisis Resolution Team which provides support to people who present in crisis within Worcestershire. The team acts as a single point of access for urgent same day assessments.

We have an onsite purpose-built Assessment Suite affording greater and more timely access to those in need.

Worcestershire is currently further developing its Urgent Care Pathway to radically look at how we provide services to the people of our County and now is an excellent time to join this progressive organisation and be part of something new.

The successful applicant will be required to work on a full-time basis, normal working hours for this position is Monday – Friday 9am-5pm.

Main duties of the job

Working for a crisis team means no two days are the same. The service we provide is critical to those in a mental health crisis and helps enable specialist support from the onset.

The crisis team take referrals from different sources including police, paramedics and self-referrals. We are an urgent care service and aim to respond at the soonest opportunity to ensure seamless care and better outcomes for patients.

As the clinical team leader in the crisis team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to functioning of staff in the crisis team supporting staff with the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Having a high level of competence, knowledge and leadership skills is crucial to this role.

Due to the being a fast-paced environment, you must have the ability to work under pressure to manage staff and service delivery.

As clinical team leader you would be the point of contact alongside the service manager to support the wider system and build excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
