We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed psychologist to contribute to the development and delivery of community adult mental health services in the city teams in Herefordshire.

Herefordshire is at the forefront of Community Transformation. We have an integrated and inclusive psychological therapies pathway, offering a range of standalone psychological interventions as well as delivering care to those with more complex presentations. We have robust Emotion Regulation and Psychosis Pathways and are central to the development of Trauma Informed Care and promoting Compassionate Leadership across the Trust.

Main duties of the job
The post is integral to the Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Service,
working alongside qualified psychologists, psychological therapists and art
therapists. New roles include CAPs and MHWBPs.
We emphasise the value of psychological assessment, formulation and
consultation early within a service-users’ journey. The post holder will
provide specialist individual interventions and contribute to our extensive
group programme. You will help to create and sustain more co-produced
psychologically and trauma informed environments, across the system of care. You
will be actively supported to develop service initiatives in line with key
national and local priorities and with local partners.

- Post graduate Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS)
- Eligible for registration as a Chartered Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) by the BPS
- Registered with HCPC as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
- Evidence of regular continuing professional development through further professional training and experience, as required by the HCPC and the BPS
- Post qualification training in specific, evidence based techniques for use with clients with complex psychological presentation and/or physical health difficulties, across the age span.
