The CAMHS Youth Team is looking for a new Youth Worker to
join us; we work in the community Mon-Fri (no weekends and no bank holidays), offer
flexible working and are based across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. This
position is based in Worcestershire - you will have a base that is located
closest to your home, and we meet as a team once a week at a central spot.
The team is made up of passionate qualified Youth Workers,
admin support and senior practitioners, with strong leadership at all times.

Main duties of the job
Manage own case load and time to:
Support the social & emotional mental health of young
people through 1-2-1 case work and small group work.
Provide prompt assessment, engagement, signposting, onward
referral and brief evidence-based interventions for young people transitioning
out of CAMHS.
Offer advice, support and training to Primary Care, CAMHS,
Adult Mental Health and the VCS and promote recovery and social inclusion.
Assess and integrate issues surrounding work and occupation into the overall therapy process.
Ensure clinical records are maintained to a high standard,
with due regard to Trust Policy and appropriate professional guidance.
Assist with the design, development and provision of service
information for referrers, service users and carers about the options available
to them.
Attend multi-agency meetings about young people.
Attend team and service meetings and engage with
supervision.
Be proactive in ensuring training is kept up to date in line
with Trust policy.
