Job summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our busy Workforce Systems Team.
You will be responsible for the timely and accurate inputting, within required deadlines, of sensitive and personal employee information, including starter, leaver and changes onto the Workforce Information System, ensuring that employee records are accurate and up to date, so maintaining a high-quality information system for the Trust and overseeing the monthly cycle for input.
You will provide day to day supervision for the Workforce Systems Team. The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work flexibly to meet strict deadlines are essential requirements of the role, as well as a good customer focus, when dealing with internal and external complex and routine queries.
We are a supportive team and you will receive full induction training to ensure you can succeed in this role.
This is a permanent post working 37.5 hours over 5 days per week. Consideration will be given to part time working for the successful applicant but with a minimum of 30 hours per week ideally over 5 days.
There will be a combination of home and office based working. You will be provided with the appropriate equipment to be able to work from home effectively.
Please note the Trust is unable to provide sponsorship to work for this role, to apply you must have current right to work in the UK status. If you are employed on an acceptable time limited visa, there is no guarantee of sponsorship at point of expiry.
Main duties of the job
You will be part of the busy Workforce Systems Team supporting the Workforce Compliance Manager with the continued development of the Workforce Information System to ensure the most effective use of functionality.
You will lead on the maintenance of the Workforce Information System Work Structures, including the creation of organisations and positions as authorised.
The role requires the use of keyboard/VDU for a substantial proportion of the working day with accurate and advanced keyboard/data inputting skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships quickly is essential as you will be required to liaise with internal stakeholders and external providers of payroll services. You will be required to investigate any queries or anomalies before and after input to ensure the accuracy of information on the system and resulting salary payments to staff. This will include the correct interpretation of NHS Terms and conditions and local HR policies as appropriate.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to undertake a presentation during the interview. Interviews will be undertaken face to face at Trust Headquarters, Worcester.
