nurses to help develop a nurse-led ADHD service for children and young people
across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, focusing on the assessment and
management of children and young people with ADHD using a trauma-informed,
developmental approach, supported by experienced ACPs and Medical Consultants.
We offer specialist training and will fund your Non-Medical Prescribing
qualification within 12 months. Ideal for Band 6 or Band 7 nurses with experience
working with neurodiverse children and families.
The roles will be based in Worcestershire; the
base to be agreed with successful applicants. Travel to Herefordshire for
supervision, MDTs and training will be required as the service covers both
counties.
The service runs Monday Friday and flexible
working is encouraged

Main duties of the job
Provide
nursing expertise, knowledge and skills in clinical practice that is
accessible, flexible and provides high quality service to enhance patient care.
Work as
part of a nurse led ADHD team in the assessment, diagnosis and management of
ADHD in children and young people.
Work
autonomously with families, offering strategies and referrals.
Manage
your own caseload across systems, assess and challenge risk, and use data to
improve services and outcomes.
Collaborate
with Clinical Leads and ACPs to develop efficient, patient-focused care.
Identify
your own and others personal development needs and take effective action to
address them by using diverse learning opportunitiesfrom formal education to
reflective practice. This includes completing the V300 Non-Medical Prescribing
module to become an autonomous prescriber under appropriate supervision.
