An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate Dietitian to join our dynamic team. This is a unique dual-role position, primarily working within our Adult Mental Health Inpatient Settings, while also taking the nutritional lead in our innovative new Post Viral Fatigue Service.

This is a part time role working 30 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

You will play a key role in supporting the nutritional care of adults and older adults with mental health conditions, working closely with the MDT to optimise patient wellbeing and recovery.

Additionally, you will be at the forefront of developing and leading the dietetic input for our Post Viral Fatigue Service which provides one-to-one and group-based sessions supporting those with ME / CFS and Long COVID. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape a new service and deliver impactful, evidence-based nutritional care.

The role includes responsibility for developing and implementing evidence-based policies and practices and delivering training and resources to members of the MDT. You will also be actively involved in helping support junior colleagues and participate in student training, to further develop leadership and supervisory skills.

The Community team provides nutritional support for patients receiving enteral tube feeding at home and inpatients in community hospitals across the county. There will be an opportunity for the post holder to support aspects of this service as required.

As the role is based at multiple locations across the county, the successful applicant must be a driver and have access to a vehicle or have access to suitable transport options.
