Job summary
The podiatry service based in Worcester City requires a skilled and well-motivated administrative assistant to work alongside our admin team . This is a fixed term post for 12 months but there may be the opportunity to extend the role for longer and make it permanent.
This is a 20-hour post, part time hours would be considered with a minimum of 18.75 hours. The successful applicant will work alongside and be supported by our experienced administrator. The service is based at the John Anthony Centre in Worcester. We are looking for a person to cover the afternoon shifts from 12.30 4.30pm to support with reception duties.
We require an individual who is self-driven, reliable, and who also works well within a team and communicates effectively.
You will be supported in this post with Trust and Service Induction, as well as with guidance and supervision from our existing team.
We are happy to negotiate flexible working hours to fit with individual needs as well as fulfilling the requirements of the Service.

Main duties of the job
A typical day will involve collecting and processing incoming and outgoing mail; responding to emails in a timely manner; answering the phone to patients, carers and colleagues; processing referrals; creating appointments for the clinical team and arranging home visits; ordering and maintaining supplies, and general administrative duties.
You will work independently under the guidance of the senior administrator and form close links with the wider admin staff across the community podiatry teams.
