Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to
appoint a Band 7 Team Leader to our well-established Childrens Community
nursing team within Herefordshire & Worcestershire Health and Care NHS
Trust. This is a full- time post and the successful candidate will need to be a
Registered Childrens nurse with proven leadership skills. It is essential that
the successful candidate has recent clinical skills and experience in caring
for children/young people with complex health needs and preferably palliative
care experience in the community.
This post will cover
the North of the County based in Bromsgrove. We do provide a Countywide service
and you maybe required to cover this on occasions, including an on-call
service.
This is full time post, but we would
consider applicants looking for part time (minimum 30 hours per week).
Main duties of the job
The post holder
will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe
and appropriate care to children, young people, and their families. This will
include professional leadership and allocation and delegation of work to meet
service users individual needs, ensuring care is delivered by competent staff.
The post holder will provide day to day operational delivery including
supervision and support to the Team throughout the County.
You
will also manage a clinical caseload as part of this role.
