Administration Assistant/Receptionist

Job summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Administrative Assistant to join our team to provide support to the Podiatry team covering Redditch, Droitwich, Evesham and Pershore

This is a part time role (18.75 hours per week) flexible hours will be considered this should be discussed at interview.Job base to be confirmed.

Your role will be to provide administrative and secretarial support to a friendly team of community-based Podiatrists. You will work with and be supported a small administration team ,and have links with the administration staff across the other podiatry teams..

We are looking for individuals who are self-driven, reliable, and who also work well within a team and communicate effectively. Ideally this person will be a quick learner and used to using a range of IT equipment.

This post includes a variety of jobs from booking appointments, answering patient calls and queries, to inputting referrals and processing emails as well as processing orders and completing day to day office administration to support the clinical team.

The successful candidate must be able to adapt to the changing needs of a busy team.

You will be supported in this post with Trust and Service Induction, as well as with guidance and supervision from our supportive team.

Main duties of the job

A typical day will involve responding to emails in a timely manner; manning a community reception desk, answering the phone to patients, carers and colleagues; processing referrals; creating clinic and domiciliary appointments for the clinical team; ordering and maintaining stationary stock and supplies, and general administrative duties to support the clinical team.

You will work independently under the guidance of the senior administrator .

You will be expected to attend, and contribute to team meetings

Travel to other sites will be required.
