Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dietitian to join our paediatric dietetic team. Working as part of a friendly, supportive team, you will provide community based dietetic services to our community paediatric caseload within Worcestershire.
If you are looking for a new challenge to develop and use your Dietetic knowledge and clinical skills, within the community setting, then this a fantastic opportunity for you. This role would be ideally suited for either an established band 6 looking to work in a community setting or an experienced band 5 looking to take the next step in their career.
This is a part time permanent post (18.75 hours per week), and as a Trust, flexible and hybrid working is supported.
The service base is Kings Court 1, Worcester, with fulltime admin support.

We will provide you with a varied and challenging caseload, excellent peer support and regular clinical supervision together with opportunities to develop leadership skills in your role.

Main duties of the job
Working as part of a friendly supportive team your role will include managing a caseload of home enterally tube fed paediatric patients, working closely with family and carers as well as the wider MDT to ensure seamless care in the community within a defined geographical area of Worcestershire.
The role will also include providing a dietetic outpatient service clinics including community clinics and special schools.
The position will also include responsibility for developing evidence-based policy and practice related to this patient group and the role will include providing any related training and resources that supports the implementation of best evidence-based dietetic practice.
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively as an autonomous practitioner as well as together within the dietetic service, paediatric team and with other MDT professionals to support delivery of an effective paediatric dietetic service.

The service is also approved for student training placements A, B, and C.
